We provide a wide range of counselling services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families, focusing on child and adolescent issues, couples' issues, and individual adult.
Assessments of Learning Differences
A psychoeducational assessment considers one's history and learning style, and incorporates a
series of standardized tests to determine an individual’s intellectual
ability, academic skills, and social/emotional and behavioural
functioning. These assessments are completed with children, adolescents,
and adults to help identify underlying disabilities (e.g., learning
disabilities, AD/HD, associated disorders) that can impede their
academic/work, social, and/or overall psychological well-being.
Parenting Assessments and Family Law Related Services
Assessments of parenting may be necessary if a parent becomes involved with Children's Services, or in a separation or divorce where parenting is disputed. Such assessments are usually done under Court Order.
